After 2 weeks , i will leave Chennai ,which has been my home for past 3 months , and will go to Hyderabad. The experience has been nice here , got to see a new place n Culture . But the most fascinating part of all these days , have been my stay at hotel , with people all around to take care of all my mess.

But sooner all these worldy pleasures will be gone and I will be thrown into the same harsh reality .

the training is over a long back but still not familiar with practical applications ,which are a little different from the dummy envt in which we worked intially.

So right now, life is a little cooler as we donot have to work upon any assignment , but its for sure after another week or so..we wont be as casual as now.Our workstations r at a new building ,different from where our pm works so have to shift regularly between these. But this way, having the taste of both the places ;)

training over

So today was the last day of my training . I am feeling ....it got over so soon :(
I had all the fun and masti during the training ..." always chatting and browsing " --my trainer used to say. From Monday , I wont be coming to this place for anymore training but will go to a new place that our company has taken. I will see my workplace and the new envt. ;)

Right now I am at training , will get to see my office and cabin in the next week. Till now had fun at training - learning , chatting , browsing . The first few days of coming to training at time / before time has been replaced by my coming directly at T-time , thats after abt an hr. Then open my yahoo chat and check mails , and keep tabbing to switch between my training lessons and chatting. Trainers are so CooL ! all credit to them :) Keep doing this till its the lunch time , after some food in the afternoon , do I need to say that I get lazy , need to siesta ... so just swoon ... its fun .

Then in the evening after training is over, what to do with the lot of energy ...i still have ? Just go to the office building, not to any workplace but to cafeteria , to enjoy the free snacks and to see other guys /gals coming out from other training classes ;) After having some enjoyment there , board the bus to home and drain away all my energy in that. Later reach home , throw away what I have wore today and lie down on bed chatting and reading sth till its 8 pm when I have to go to a nearby mess for stuffing dosas and rice. Then zzzZZZZ and dream.

Till now my stay here has given me many reasons to feel that my IQ is not good. Why? Because the indi-pindi that I learn yetserday is forgotten by today. But what to do ? How can i live without food and water ? So gotta learn it. english...hindi...strictly no..no.

Water occurs in all physical colors and tastes here. From blue-green to salt-sweet.U name it and they have it.What more to tell abt the beautiful weather here ! Take a bath and the moment u leave bathroom u r again wet, ofcourse not in tap-water . After bath , my stomach cries for food. So have been feeding it with dosas...masala-onion-plain-rava etc.And the moment I board the bus, I get the feel of the crowd out here.Either the buses are less or the crowd is more. So I am jampacked with people all around smelling different varities of natural odors. And obviously after all this, do I need to mention that its a open challenge for anyone if he can use his shirt for the next day.

But anyway I want to explore this place. Its new, its fun with its varities ;)

corporate life

so finally after a long wait , my life for working for a company has begun. I m here at Chennai enjoying its climate, food and the people who speak only tamil (my exp.) . How to make them understand what i want is the major prob for me now. I have been dumped on numerous occassions till now by these people b'coz of the communication gap.
But anyway need to see this place ,which is the happening place in the IT world with many companies trying to setup atleast 1 of their unit here and also I want to experience new things. Life will be dull without new experiments,isn't it ? :).

These 4 yrs at IIIT r going to end in a few days . All of us will be kicked out with a degree in hand to search somewhere else to rest for the other half of our life. Me confused what to do ? What to achieve in Life ? Where to head ? [ hope , not suffering from ramneek's dilemma ] .
Lets see what life turns out to be after 5 yrs. Life as usual is full of turns and twists and u have to be sure to not get a wrong turn.Sth in ur control and sth not.

Its been a long time since I came here to write down abt " days of my life " . What to write ?? Nothing really happening that can be shared here over the net. Life goes on as usual , with its ups-n-downs. But sth thats happening is that money is getting spend heavily, not on merry making but on some serious business like food and journey, of course not to OuterSpace but inland, just kidding , I need some Xtra sleep to get normal I guess.

ramneek's first hair cut

It was today that ramneek got his hair cut for the first time in his life. Quizzed ? He says he doesnot believe in physical appearance to show his belief in God.He continues speaking, there should be no religion ,no barriers . But I argued that even if we remove all barriers and all religions , it wont stop the people from fighting.Lastly,then, there will be sects depending on the muscle power and u cant take away that. So till there is human life, people will keep fighting, How can they give up their innate animal instincts where fighting and killing is invloved from getting food to sex.

But he had made up his mind and my wit could not help here ,and he finally got rid of his turban, and now clean shaven, he is sporting the look of a model from UK ;)
The entire process he kept asking questions ,as if a child who wants to know whats happening around him.

Alas! 1 more man less in the religious world ,but does not know if this matter ;) How was ramneek ?

holiday-ing

holidaying here as all others have gone home. Pappu n sunny went lucknow on 25 ^th, so right now we rams and I are having the hard time trying to having fun. The other boffins DVD , KBC , Jagga are busy with their research projects , alternately falling ill due to their bad working habits.

Right now as I am writing this post rams is in deep sleep ,coming from the gym , he always says that I am just here to chat with you, but I dont know how my poor bed intoxicates him ,that he feels sleepy at the sight of it. But let him sleep , for these are the remaining days of our stay here at IIIT ,dont know where-when will we meet.

I am enjoying NFS and browsing to download some english albums, Dont know any good sites for albums download, So if you know kindly suggest me !

sth unprecedented

Ya ,sth unprecedented has happened a day before. Rams coming into his FULL form and pappu dearest PC is not getting alive.

Yesterday morning, there was a gang-bang by rams and pappu , who played mischiefs on some people . Sometimes some really dangerous ideas come in Rams wicked mind . What he did ! He wanted to wake up all of us planting bomb in front of our rooms and then snapping photographs of our semi-naked body as we wake up from the bed in a frightened state ,as if Tsumani has struck here.
Soon I guess , Rams will post some of these photographs on his blog, so keep checking it.

And now abt poor pappu, what a excited fellow he was a day before ,enthusiastic abt arranging 'data' on his PC . But yesterday , ill luck showed its face to pappu ,when he found out that his PC is not able to 'get up' ,even when resuscitated by a no. of boot-up.So he left his PC at Bhoomika Stores ,paradise for sale at a paltry sum of Rs. 12000/- . So if any of you reading this post is interested to buy ,message pappu on his tag-board at his blog .
Now the thing is what a guy who have been addicted to PC ,will do without it .

exams kindaa over

yesterday with the bio-info exams , my exams r a kinda over as only ethics exam is remaining.Bio was really a head shredder for me , we have to mug-up lots of amino-acids structures and some definations that looked same for all terms with some weird biological notations added here-n-there.
When i saw the exam paper , i was terrified-petrified-exasperated but then i thought its better its tough and no definations-n-all so that all are at the same platform . Started writing paper and tried to fill every space with possible answers and even inventing some processes and unique reasoning there. Bhavani was sitting behind me ,[luckily didnot see my associated seat, so sat on ashwin's seat] and exchanged a little-bit-of information with him. Every marks count !

Today our Sher-E-Hind,pappu and Sher-E-Punjab,Rams have gone for Compilers test without studying compilers. Lets see how-n-what they write.

yesterday took place the formal ceremony to kick us out from our insti, ya i m talking of the farwell function.It started with the tree plantation and then speeches-n-speeches. From our batch imran and Ad gave the speech and both the speech was outstanding, i didnot expect such a nice speech and its delivery from imran.

prof PJN also gave a speech-of-his-kind and so did our dean - prof govindrajalu and our director - prof sangal. Our dean being very famous among us so we gave him a standing ovation . He has a great memory and commented on each-n-every one of how they behaved in his class with nicknames .

later we had the candle-ceremony and then grp photograph of faculty-n-students to finish it off.

And after the dinner, this time we had to have it in our mess :( , there was an enjoyable informal session by our juniors. Shantalu was there as usual with his crtically acclaimed phrases for us.

Last festival to be celebrated with the friends here at IIIT had come finally. Looking forward to do some planning in the evening for tomorrow , initially we planned to go to RAMOJI FILM CITY today but due to unavoidable circumstances that could have been avoided [ pappu's viva , pandey's busy with holi preparation being the Cultural Secretary] , this could not take place.

Lets see what we could do this evening , Rams was speaking of going to HC [hyderabad central] ,so would have to wait till this nocturnal wakes up.

R&D part -II

RnD was total fun the next day too , the second day was much busier for me as sreejith and aaradhya didnot come for my help. The faculty team was supposed to come and i didnot want to show a poor show of our project so tried to contact sreejith but he didnot lift phone nor answered my mails. So i thought of , lets go ahead i can handle them. Then Prof. Kamal, Prof V U Reddy and Prof B K Dey along with Prof. Jayanthi and Prof Jawahar came , but only first three came to my table so i explained my project as they hurried for other projects.Prof Reddy asked abt the efficiency and Prof Kamal commented on what is this 'Differential' .
After this lots of students from various colleges in a grp that is larger than the previous day crowded our 'Network & Security Lab' . I was tireless explaining my project to all these people ,and in the afternoon when i was abt to leave for lunch , a lady from Nokia came in to me and she took much interested in my project , quizzed a lot and then revealed her identity. She congratulated for my project .

When i restarted again after lunch a person from TCS who is in research wing of security came to see my project and then he asked me abt the crypto toolkit so i took him to meet Prof. Venky. Meanwhile my work continued like this till late evening . Later Prof PJN came to our lab but at that i was busy with some grps so he couldnot come, i wish i could show him our project . After sometime Prof. Sangal also came and he couldnot come to my table as i was again with some grp so i greeted him and continued with this grp ,hoping to catch him later. I waited for him to complete all the projects in our lab and when he was leaving i asked him if he has some time for me. He oblized me and i showed him my project. He seems a very humble and nice person so like him , infact i like all my profs here and i will miss these stalwarts .

Me at R&D showcase

Today our R&D showcase started with Mr. Kiran Karnik visit to our campus. Prof Venky asked us ,all the students working under him to have their projects for the show. So we also got the opportunity to put our project in the showcase. Initially i thought what will we present since we did not complete the project , but since sir very much wanted us to present the work so we thought of giving a good ppt explaining our algorithm and then showing the part of the project implementation.
I practised a lot with jagga and kasak and others and then went ahead with the first visitor being the M-Tech guys and slowly-n-slowly all the local colleges like G. Narayana, Matushree , HRD , MJCIT etc came in to see the projects . It was all fun and great explaining all the GIRLS :) and boys and later in the evening came 2 people from Kanbay and Oracle each.

So today went well ,atleast Prof Venky is happy and i added that our lab got most of the visitors.

Hoping to handle well all the company people and the faculty that will come to see our project tomorrow.I guess Sreejith will have to support me more there.

final stage for FYP

the final days for FYP presentation is approaching fast. Only 15 days to go , yesterday we[sreejith + aaradhya + i] had a meeting discussing our roles to accomplish in these days. I have got the work to find the differential charcteristic for the S-boxes [My project : differential cryptalanalysis ] . Hope to give rest of these days completely to my FYP to make my guide Prof. Venky happy ,so that we can ENJOY after that.
Others too have geared up for their project . pappu recently got a mail from his guide from CMU abt the progress.

And today we went to talk to Dr. Nita to ask her abt the 3rd test for Bio-Informatics ,giving various arguments but finally she gave us cold shudders ,so we asked her for a surprise test instead.

these days i have acquired a new disease : [not dreadful ;) ] sleeping till 9:00 am . I am searching some medicine for this.

jalebis and the 3 halwais

could not make much blogging during past few days , bcoz no events to commemorate except that this sunday we tried making JALEBI 's in my room . Pandey, pappu and then sunny joined in to make those luscious jalebis. pandey contributed desi GHEE and saffron , pappu was the 'halwai' readying the preparation and sunny later joined in to make a little more circular jalebis after pandey lost all hopes to get one .i was there to switch the heater ON/OFF and playing the movie 'Judaai' (one of my favourites )

The jalebis turned out to be comparable to the best sweets shop in the town . we started around 6:00 pm and completed the show around 8:00 pm , meanwhile we mailed the other fellows but nobody could come to taste it except DVD.

My room is still smelling of burnt ghee after that event [pandey burnt the ghee a little more than needed :( ].

our DUDE had come to make his auspicious presence at IIIT . Who can be the DUDE other that MUDIT.He is at HP, Banglore ,but will be appplying for US Universities so I guess he came for some reco. etc.

Vineesh Jain, my 1st yr Phy tutor also came with him. He is at Oracle now,earlier he was at convansys,Banglore . Talking to him , we came to know abt the present scenario of IT industries. Whats happening in the companies , whats the good-n-ugly pic of companies. M.tech guys really r practical guys ,they have seen the world more than us so they know how to deal in life. Thats why the importance of work-exp everybody stressing upon from IIMs to ITcompanies.

OK ! another sunday ...want to enjoy it...but have not planned anything imp yet...

MONEY plant

Yesterday pappu wanted to do some shopping at Trinetra so we went to ' ice-n-spice ' near MAKS. In the middle of journey i expressed my desire to have a money plant, Pappu also desired to buy one. (Actually i have been planning to buy it since a few months). So while we were returning ,we dropped at a nursury near PR. It was dark , but after a little hesistation we bought one each (Rs.10/-).

Today i planted it into Brooke bond tea container , which i kept for it. Now its small , has abt 6 leaves.

Hope it will fill my room by the time i leave IIIT.

One doubt ! Pappu says we should steal money plant for then only it brings good luck in terms of money.

But i just wanted to have one in my room so got one,
lets see if it can bring some charm .

need discipline

when will i get disciplined ?? i am very angry on myself. what the heck ? how will i progress if i dont have good habits at this age ?

why cant i change ? I read so much but i m unable to change myself? what should i do ?
same bad habit of doing the things at the last moment. i want to change this to the way when i would have completed the desired work much before time .

I will try from this day to get into some discipline . STRICT DISCIPLINE - atleast the way i handle things - doing some of my imp wok late or handling improperly.

Happy Valentine to all of u !
One more valentine day pass-by as i sat here doing nothing. Hello, God! when will i get a girl or is it that u r waiting for the right moment.But plz let it come soon.

Today ,our batch organised love-letter writing contest.Many of us tried to put their feelings on paper imagining one's ladylove.What to do? Atleast this way we could get a letter writing practice.I also submitted mine ,though tried much to write as much heart-rendering as possible with a few heart pics embedded in it.The CR's [ amal, bolero, sandeep ] also tried to screen two romantic movies in the seminar hall,but the SLC head dashed all our hopes.Otherwise she says that there should be common hostels for girls-boys but when it comes to matter like these ,she just turns her face the other side.

so the batch meeting for celebrating has been postponed for the next day.Hey,one more thing i guess it will be a memorable day for the people as it is the day when they get their offer letters .

Sunday ,' the most beautiful day '

"Sunday!" i will rate u as the most beautiful day.I guess lots of emotions and sentiments r attached with u.
U r the day which we waited for ,when i was a kid ,when dad took off from his work and we would get a feel of a complete family.It was so nice then, waking a little late around 8:00 am and then watching 'Rangoli' with tea. Morning breeze refreshing u along with the songs.Then we have breakfast at around 9:00 and get ready to watch 'Mahabharat' and other serials that follow till 11:00 or 12:00.
Meanwhile the house getting cleaned by parents and then we[bros and sis] taking bath ,though hesistatingly ,for it would be nearing 2:00 pm.Then we would have fish curry and rice [my mouth is watering as i m writing this] while news[for deaf] is on TV.Sometimes i and dad would go for shopping rations for the whole month to Sec-9.I dont know why, but somwhow i like getting ready and going there or better saying ,going out on sundays ,here-n-there.Childhood is such a nice time,its priceless.
Then after ,dad and mom go to take a nap and we do our business.Sometimes we played carrom or go for the siesta.Then we wake around 4:00 pm ,by that time dad would be up ,making tea and i would join him for the movie that starts at that time.Good old hindi movies.Then mom would wake up and prepare sth for snacks and we would enjoy.
Then dad will go out in the evening ,may be for milk or for some domestic need,meanwhile we will be enjoying at home.Later we have a good dinner ,sometimes mutton,which we again enjoy with sth good coming on the TV.
I dont know ,may be i miss those childhood days ,but i liked my sundays,now also,when u r a little different from ur usual self, being free from the daily monotonous work to behave in a different style /to get involved in some new activity.

Spend time with ur family and sunday is the day to get close to all relatives /friends who visit u or u visit them on that day ,giving them a little surprise.

Enjoy ur sunday atleast , enjoy ur life .

a meet with Richard Stallman ; GNU/LINUX

today we [rams and i] went to attend a lecture by this famous man, Mr Richard Stallman.Actually i completely forgot abt the event ,but then i accidently found Rams in the main building where he told me abt this thing ,saying 'this is once in a lifetime opportunity' ,dont know whether we will meet Stallman again or not.So i got motivated and wanted to go. Rams was in a little doubt as he had DC class this evening and he had already missed 3 classes ;in IIIT ,missing 5 classes means u will get a grade less.Rams spotted prof Venky and wanted to ask his permission ,but all in vain,so Rams said Damn'd everything to meet this person and we got ready to find a bus to go to Secunderabad ,Hari Hara Kalabhavan.The event starts at 5:30 pm and we got at the bus-stop around 5:20 pm .Then after some trouble ,we finally reached the auditorium.
There were some vacant seats at the front rows ,so we got our place and were very close to Stallman ,[could see every gesture on his face].His speech was very good and he drank quite a lot of tea in-between his speech,[atleast a person ,who loves tea as-much-as me].He talked abt the spyware in Windows OS, 'addiction' strategy of MS,some patents probs ,difference between FREE Software and OpenSource ,etc. . Later he urged the users to call their system as GNU/Linux as calling the system Linux is a misnomer as Linux is just a kernel and it requires various other programs under the GNU to make the system work.He looked a very humble person, mimicing user's dependency on Windows and in the later part of the speech ,turned into Saint IGNUcius of church Emacs, wearing a black overcoat and a platter,his halo [a computer disk in previous life].
Then followed a long Q&A session in which he tried to handle almost all the questions that the audience wrote to him.The session was OK though there were some distubances in the middle by the audience ,cracking jokes and some leaving in-between the speech.Hope he doesnot take a bad impression of us.
After the event we returned with a few free stickers of GNU/Linux mascot ,found Ranta and Vardhman and got an auto for Medhipatnam.We [Rams and i] came to PR ,had dinner - paranthas .Rams wanted some spicey stuff inside paranthas so got them so spicey that he coulnot eat them.I had my coffee ,Rams had his cig and we returned to the Hostel.
It was a good evening for we got to see such a person face-to-face which is a dream.

Felicity ...an overview...

this time i liked the felicity in a way that it was organised in a better standard.The stalls were from good brands like Dominos ,Olive Garden etc. .Judges for some of the events like BizUnderstanding [where we won 1st prize] were from ISB ,for Mr. Ms Felicity were Ms Kiran,ex-HR Delloite,one IIMC grad,a beauty clinic head.All these only thru' contacts of Padmaja Madam,Avik[he also brought one hockey team player Viren in the BV show].
This time we had 2 lakh watts speaker system, but the participants this time were a little less and the events were not scheduled properly.The stage which was enormously decorated remain under-utilised but for Bombay Vikings,the first day ,the second day for Pt. Debu Choudhary and third day ,Mr & Ms Felicity. Major events like Skit compt. were organised in the class-room.Infact the stage remain completely blank in the afternoon ,so where will be the crowd ? Only in the evening there was some gathering ,but that too was thin , as we miss to see gorgeous Girls in here.
Third yrs ,give reasons as this time it clashed with exams going in some colleges . And abt NIFT participation, i will say they participated what they felt like ? Some glitches we had with them last time was properly sorted out and many became good friends after that , a few are in touch with me now even.I guess, the third yrs woke up for the felicity some 2 weeks before the event ,doing everything from posters-to-event planning in such a short span. So when is the time for publicity.And even if they did, that too for a day-or-two.Sending personal mails to the people wont help,dear! There is a great difference in inviting physically and electronically.But anyhow,applaudable efforts by the third yrs.
As i am writing this mail,two mails have already come ,bashing all hopes of SLC [head] celebrating the success of felicity.Dr PJN and Kamal took to every nitty gritty of the event and tried to analyze that .The gist being that our being a institute of repute ,the festival should have been organised in a proper way [not lavish] inviting participants from all over India.
Lets see what will be the future couse of events.

today was the final of BizUnderstanding contest.A total of 6 teams made into the final ,out of which only 1 was from outside(HCU). our team was to present 2nd after the HCU team.There ppt was good ,as they did good survey of the market segment for their product(Washing Machine ,run with the power of bicycle).
Our ppt was on the product(named: SMenhanced ®) that will look into the SCM(Supply chain management) of SME's (Small and Medium Enterprises).Our ppt went very well ;dvd and pappu doing much of the talk work and though dvd was a little nervous at the beginning ,but later he got confident and presented the concept of SCM well.The judges who were ISB students PGP-2005 were impressed. Actually the guy was greatly taken by our idea and the feasiblity aspect of the plan.But i think the gal was more interested in us preparing the financial details of the plan ,which we lacked being unable to prepare the P/L and the Balance sheets in so less time ,since we started making our ppt at abt 11:00 am that day.But overall our ppt was good ,especially the Q&A session ,which DVD answered amazingly furnishing some good facts .
After ours,there was satvik and grp , then kasak.Later came the chance of patke .what a presenter he is? he used the ppt and the business plan ,the xl sheets of finance details, he used during the BNBP course ,where our teacher, Mr Anil Kr. Jampala (a big name in business)[vice-president of HYSEA],didnot like their idea as being unrealistic.Their plan? to make robot-waiters at a large scale who will make be at ur service 24*7 doing all ur work.Scientists are beating their head out to develop robots who can walk well and here this is, a human-robot !! I dont know why, but the gal from ISB was very much moved by this innovative idea.I guess it was her because of which they scored points and finally made a tie for the 1st place with us. I mean ,what a gas-bag it was ,boasting of honda being their funders to a patent in collaboration with honda and a good office at Cybertowers .They said whatever they can and the gal coulnot estimate the worthiness of their plan! ISB people should know what is a feasible plan and which is not.Just building a company on a product that sounds good and amazing can't make ur company run.
last team was of shantalu ,here aayan gave a very good ppt ,but they delve deeper into the product aspect rather than the business details.

But it was a good show at the end. Avik was there ,so it need to be something extra ...so we had video recording of our show and he infact called these ISB people for he has good contacts with many a people there and yesterday he called viren,indian hockey player to our felicity .
Sorry , i forgot to write abt the Bombay Vikings show ,that was yesterday .It was dance and masti and very energetic show ,will write abt that soon.

Equity Pulse :: Felicity continues...

Today was the day of Equilty Pulse , a simulation of stock exchange . It was fun playing the game for three consecutive days ,the final day being today.Last day i left the game purchasing Reliance,SESAGOA,TTML and HDFC (just 2 shares) ,thinking that my position won't improve much beyond 280-300 as i got stuck in this rank range yesterday ,but today i was surprised to find my position shifting to 16 . What an improvement !! i refreshed the page thinking that there might be some problem with the online thing. But after many refreshes i was astonished to find that i was at 16 infact.I continued in that rank till 1:30 pm with slight ups and downs but when i saw that at 3:00 pm,it changed to around 217 and then i did some buying and selling ,but what could a poor guy with no stock knowledge can fetch.
have to content with this rank,but it was a good experience. No prizes,just stock experience.

No treasure after Treasure Hunt

As i am writing this post , i am a bit upset, agitated ,exasperated . The reason ?

Man , after toiling hard for two days , exploitating our brain cells , we (rams : now i will nickname Ramneek with rams: and i) fought over to reach the treasure . And with great excitement ,congratulated each other,basked in the glory of success till 10:00 pm when the Organisers after a SLIGHT modification in the 'Cachein' [Treasure Hunt] site released the results. Lo and behold ! we r not in the top -50 even , but that doesnot matter ,for our main concern was to win the T-Shirts promised to be given to the team reaching the treasure. But the change they did, ONLY TO TOP 10 , who will be reaching treasure are considered for T-Shirts.
Now what is this ?? u can't keep ur word... what a man u r ?? If u can't give T-Shirts ,why promising that ,many a team participated to get the T-shirts ,which they otherwise would have left in-between as their score could not fetch them top slot. And moreover ,the prizes should be given in the order ,who reaches the treasure first ,not only on the basis of score. If it was the score , we had Rams login too ,from where we could have played after we completed the hunt from my login ,and as we know most of the questions or we can get them from other friends who played the contest, we could have solved all the puzzles in no time ,and without skipping.Pandey completed his next day hunt in just 1/2 hr ,after he heard that we had got the treasure.
Here Rams think that i am bemoaning for the T-Shirts , but this is not abt T-Shirts , this is abt Rules. Rules of the game doesnot change at the result time. "Jaan Jayee Par Wachan Naa Jayee" .
I hate people who can't keep their word the most.
Anyways this is life...life is not easy...we have to deal with people like these.

1st Target Captured :: 'Treasure Hunt'

Today we (Ramneek and I ) began our journey for the 'Treasure Hunt' ,the event we registered in Felicity.It had various mind-boggling puzzles ,that left us perspiring but thanks to friends (Pelu, Chandna,Ranta) we could solve the later ,very tricky problems easily.

We know from earlier that we may not get good score ,so no chance of winning the 1-3 prizes ,so we made a strategy to reach the target ,may be even by losing some points. This strategy building helps,'some management funda' ,i am craving to learn.

so we have WON ! .
Hey we r the first in our gang to crack the treasure hunt and as i m writing this post , pappu n sunny on their last question. They will also win T-shirts.

The team effort has made us succed , now hoping to win some prizes in other events as EquityPulse which will be resume tomorrow.

Having a hella-lot-of-time enjoying Felicity . Hoping to win lots of prizes in other events too.

Felicity Starts

'FELICITY' Our Cultural and Technical festival started today ,with the online programming event 'Codecraft' being successfully over just now. This year we have got good sponsorships and looking at the Codecraft problems , i am sure the 3-yrs will conduct this event in a very nice way. I like the way they publicised 'Verizon' . Good Luck to them !!!
Many a people from my wing took part in that , and some got into the top-55 list , manjeet and ketan, Jagan n Pelu , chandana n ranta (not in my wing) but my close friends sunny and pappu dear started late and bravo! to them for submitting one solution . Bravo! for being efficient to submit 1 solution in nick of time. I wish they could start early and would have got more solutions and won T-shirts atleast.

Lets come to earth now.Our FYP report submission is tomorrow. Hope this passes easily so that we can rest in peace till the final demo thing that is scheduled in mid-March.

Hyderabad Central

yesterday pappu n i went to Hyd Central. The 'Happiness Sale' is on ,associating the human emotion with the purchasing power of the people. Discounts ranging from 10% -50% is on ,so we thought to cash in this opportunity. Actually it was the plan of Pappu to buy some clothes and he was urging since a few days so i also give in to try out some for myself.

we looked for jeans , and got two each from BARE . One is shaded variety and other is the soft one. Pappu also got in the same category.He tried 2 shirts too ,but at the last moment got a defect in one ,so had to content with only one. I also got 2 undies,colourful, from 'BARE' (to prevent myself from being bare,where i need the most :) ).
Then we got two books each from Odyssey . I bought Donald Trump ,the art of deal, and Tuesdays with Morrie. And Pappu got The Monk who sold his Ferrari and an autobiography of Mahatma Gandhi , hoping to see a new gandhi shaping change in him, our saviour in this 21 century.

What after a good shopping ,than to try out some luscious items for our stomach.We went to Ohri's and ate the 'mint meals' and veg biryani with sweet lime and pineapple juice.Later i had cappacino.Then we headed for our hostel.

we got out from Bus at Indira Nagar and fortunately found our Taxidriver of IIIT, Mr Umapati and got lift till our hostel.

A good day at the end ,except that Pappu left his carrer launcher bag,with nothing in it, at the Mall.

as i am writing this post , i m puzzled to even think abt the time approx. 5 months from now. Where will i be ? Where will others be ? How will be the corporate life ?
i wish to anticipate a little glimpse of future. But all ends up in a blackhole absorbing all my thoughts ,without giving me any picture.
Lets see how the things turn out. But i would like to say ,what a yr it had been for me ! i couldnot have ever dreamt of the things that had happened ..Wo..Wo...phew...
But its said everything happens for the good ,so i m wating for what good awaits me .

what i did at Home

this time it was total masti time , enjoyed very much. What i did there?

eat-sleep- TV. I ate ,ate n ate ,it was a hard time for my stomach which had to be always at work to churn what i ate.Then i take a good afternoon sleep ,really a sound sleep , i guess u can know how deep i m in my sleep by the snore i have! .I went out to our shopping center ,and was really happy to find the same people with the same kind of atmosphere there.But one thing certainly has changed, thanks to the media hullabaloo, i found many Mukesh-Anil at shops, the Kirana shop of Choudhary, the Kitab Ghar (where from i had all my books from class 6 - 12).
from among the many programmes that i watched i liked ,the indian idol, Harsha ki Khoj,channel-V SuperSinger,Khulja SimSim,Fear Factor.The media has changed with now the emphasis to involve the public in many a ways. But 10 contestants ,all second to none ,fighting to become the Indian Idol was really exciting.They sang really well. Kudos to their fighting Spirit ! watching them i also wished to become Someone famous. And Harsha is my favourite personality, i mean what a man, intelligent n smart [full credit to IIM-A which delivers such a product].

atlast ,i m going home. After a yr,finally the day has come when i m leaving for home. i dont why but i m excited .Yetserday i met appa n appi and sharma and chatted with them and wished them "Happy new Yr".i met Paddy [She is our Placement Officer, how to describe her ? She is very good ,always talked nicely with me .Hey,1 thing abt her,she knows how to go abt in this world ,she is really COOL ]too ,i was dreading that she might hold me back a few days for placement but thank god ,she told me that that wil happen in Jan so i can go home.

I met RaviTeja [my senior, my wingmate;we had a good company here 1 yr back when except 4 of us (nirnimesh,anand,pappu and me) all were seniors here.] .He is applying for MS abroad after a stint at TCS.

Today i have a class Bio-info and after that we (pappu n me ) r planning to go for Shopping. "Shop till i die",no man, just a few things.
So i will be away from posting here, hope sth incredible happens that i can share with u when i come on 3rd Jan.

i dont know why but i m constantly thinking abt my days i had spent here in IIIT. I m feeling as if i had not done much. i should have either studied well or enjoyed to the fullest. since i couldnot do the former so i think i should spend my rest of the days here so that i can say in my future that i did this ,i did that .... so-n-so.

till a few days back , i was thinking i have not been involved in crapulence,no puffing and no girls. What have i done here ,could i let my days here go waste. So with these things in mind i worked forward to achieve my first goal.Ya , the day when i tasted the devils drink and it was the diwali night . i was so excited though we had Vodka and everybody(the team involved : pappu,ramneek,anand,KBC and me) got a few pegs ,i wanted to feel being lost my senses but it couldnot happen. All my eagerness to wake up the next morning with the hangover was shattered. But i m planning to have another party in a day /two before everyone here part for their home.
the auspicious day for the next target in the list was today night, we (pappu and i) went to 4-Seasons[sth abt 4-seasons here: the food there tastes really good for tongue and for my poor belly,which is always hungry.] and on our way back got the magic box ,Wills Gold Flakes, though PP helped us remember to bring this by making an SMS to pappu. So after coming to our hostel ,we assembled in pappu's room [me,pp and pappu] ,then was the time for me to feel the tagline "with a cigarette in hand ,i feel like a man". i being an amateur first saw pp and pappu , and asked them how to go abt it. Then i started taking one puff after the other ,and really enjoyed it. while we r completely involved in enjoying the mood , gaurd [Mr. Rana] knocked at the door , i had a call from home.After i finished my phone-talk i headed straight to pappu's room but found Arjun[he is one of my other friends] sitting in my room ,since he was leaving the next morning so chatted with him for abt half an hr and then bade him bye. Now i knocked at pappu's door again to have one more cigg. so here i have achieved my second goal.
Now,the time, to plan for the third GOAL [the importance ,made me to write this in CAPS], the goal of achieving a girl , "koi hota jisko apna, ham apna kah sakte". lets see how i proceed in this.

anyways i have other goals also which i will try to fulfill in these remaining 4 months at IIIT.

a few days before winter vacation

could not contribute much here since a couple of days ,What was i doing? I was enjoying after the FyP viva are over .It went OK ,the thing that i dreaded ,happened ,the FeMale faculty in my panel asked us a lot of questions .Our faculty guide was telling us to explain her in simple terms ,but how could we explain her,our condition was same as someone trying to explain a kid some adult stuff. Anyhow ,it passed ,then when we went to meet Prof Venky(our faculty guide) the next day ,he said we should work on our presentation. Ya, now-a-days either u work hard or present well.And i think the major chunk of the so-called geeks falls into the second category.So we will work on our presentation next time . we r happy that our faculty guide is happy these days as we r meeting him regularly ,atleast once a week ,after some complications that had arisen the previous semester.

i can forget abt the FyP for a few days now ,enjoy and relax ,and go home.I have not been to home since a yr.i dont know but whenever i go home ,i become tensed ,and some or the other thing happens that makes be go weird.i think i m cool staying away from home. But this time i want to go for a change for many unfortunate events have happened ,which i will tell u in detail later.

hey,cheers man! i m going home lets see Bokaro how it looks now,hope to see some chicks there.
these days , i m free ,so how do i pass my time ? go to gym in the morning ,then i open Pandora's box ,thats my PC and spend the whole day browsing the Net. I want to take some time off to read Books ,but couldnot get off my hand from here . Now i m under the feeling that only few days of my B.Tech r remaining so i should make full use of it, if not in academics ,then using the facilities available here,ya i m talking of the Net facility 24*7 provided here.

How will i live without Net ??

Today is tuesday,i have Bio-info class in the afternoon .Final yr is really cool with just a few subjects that too all but 1 scheduled in the afternoon ,leaves us with much time to spend it on anything we want.Now i am sitting today browsing company websites.

hey ,missed the hot topic of the post,FYP!! bole to final yr project ,head jitters.with 2 more days to go to show the fyp progress ,this time it should have a small demo and as usual 4 brainy guys ,my prof shooting us three(forgot to tell u my grp members:: PC Sreejith and Aaradhya , these are really cool dudes) with the awkward questions trying to probe everything stupid to check ur genuineness in the work. infact in our panel of profs, only 1 is the most troublesome , reason being a lady and trying to show off her knowledge .

lets see what happens on 9th ,ya my fyp presentation day.

hey ,last time i told u abt pappu ,u remember, he is going home on 10 th with Sunny ,he is my other friend who came on 5 th ,sunday after a long gap ,being hospitalised from severe complications in his head. Now he is all fine. So , i was telling u,they r going home and i will be left alone ..unnnunnnnununnnn ... hihihihihihi .......joking man, i will have fun for 4 more days staying here,surely plan sth interesting.

From today i am starting to write in here. I hope to be a regular visitor to this site after being influenced by many of my friends who have become a member here,to name a few, pappu(gaurav),KBC(avinash),(ramneek).
